fairview-new construction
I have found 3 new construction homes in Fairview that I am interested in. What do you think the reaction will be for an offer of $50,000 less than their current list price. These are $500,000 homes. The market I am moving from, this would be a reasonable offer.

I would probably make an initial offer even less than that.

It is extremely rare for a builder to discount their price that much. There have been 9 closed sales of new homes over 3000 sq ft in Fairview in the last six months, and they went for an average 98.9% of list price with one exception. That one was listed at $410,000 for 3660 sq ft, but that included finished basement space. The buyer bought it before the basement was finished and it closed at $350,000 with 2463 sq ft of finished living space (basement unfinished).

would anyone know the price of land an acre between fairveiw and franklin?

Your question is a little to broad. Current listings of land one acre and larger in these areas range from 5k to over 300k per acre. You need to be more specific as to location and acreage. |

Ack! You need a good realtor! This is one of the biggest misconceptions I find of people who relocate to Nashville- we never had the ridiculous bubbles of other places, so our pricing isn't going to be a greatly discounted as, say, Florida or California. You still get loads of home for the money-comparatively!
