I think most people who go to church think their church is friendly. In other words, ask 100 people which is friendliest and you'll get 100 different answers.

Are you looking for a specific denomination? Small, country church or huge band and movie-screen church?

We "shopped" around before finding ours. Just felt right.

Good luck!

Not really looking for a "specific denomination", just a church that is not teaching; Endtimes or extreme stuff like that!
A Church that helps its people live better lives through Love, kindness and understanding.

I have to second the shopping around part. I was raised Baptist, Methodist, Presbyterian, or whatever was in walking distance to the house. As an adult when I went looking for my own I did exactly that, went shopping. I fell in love with my current church the first day I went and have been there ever since. Next to a spouse, probably the second most individually personal decision you can make

I belong to Brentwood United Methodist right on Franklin Ave, in Brentwood.
Its big 6400 people, but has many different Bible Studies, Sunday School Classes for all different age groups. I like it, I did shop and went to about 4 different chuches , and chose this one.

I belong to Brentwood Baptist...similar in size to BUM, and with lots of small groups to get plugged into. You might also check out the Tuesday night Kairos service there...it caters to the 20s and 30s crowd.

We attend The Gathering in Franklin. Non-denominational and I can't imagine any place being friendlier. You can learn a lot about The Gathering online.
