Before I started taking the I-24 to 440 route I now do, other people told me the same thing, but I can't say I've found that. The 440 can be slow moving, certainly, but are there any Nashville highways that aren't? There have only been a few times that the 440 was backed up, as opposed to it being an almost daily occurrence on I-24, but it always broke up after the Hillsboro exit.

We're having a townhome built just off bell rd. and 24 so come next year I'll be taking 24 and 440 daily into work. Currently I take 65 to 440 which isn't terrible but I try and make sure to leave before 7am. I've driven 24 enough though to know the traffic is horrible during rush hour most days. At the place I used to work I had a couple of co-workers who commuted from Murfreesboro and most of them left very early (5am or earlier) and had no trouble with traffic, surprise surprise! Granted they had to be in early for job specific purposes.
