Default Collecting benefits and working

I cannot find this info anyhwere. I have been collecting unemployment in Tennessee and just found a job. When I certify that I have been in training will they end by benefits that week or can I still get beneftis until I actually get a check so I get money coming in every week. I am so poor and so terrified this will happen. What if I just certify when the money comes in and not mention I have been in training/working? I really want to be honest but don't want to shoot myself in the foot --- help

I would simply call up the agency that gives you the money and ask them the question. The problem you might run into is that if you're working and it turns out that you're getting financial benefits that aren't allowed they might want that money back which would even be a worse situation to be in. Good luck, I hope it works out for you.
