Hello All,

Will be relocating back to the Nashville area in early 2017 and was wondering where are the most affordable options to reside now? I havent lived there since 2012, I know that the city has done vast changes as far as new developments, traffic and a influx of new residents every month.

I will be making 60k, no family, will have to travel around the city for work and looking to rent a 2br townhouse/condo for around 1k a month. Looking at Bellevue/Belle Meade and Mt. Juliet areas...are there other options that you would recommend?

Thanks for all the help!

Mr. Wilson,

Rents have risen so much in Mt. Juliet that a 1bed/1bath start at around 1k. A two bedroom condo for rent will probably set you back 1,200-1,400k for rent. On apartments.com i saw two townhomes for 1300k in the Providence-Mt.Juliet area.

I can't imagine the Belle Meade area is any cheaper. Perhaps Bellevue or Hermitage/Donelson are better options.

You can still find a 2BR for around $1K in Bellevue but not townhouse.
