I have been on here asking questions about the area for the past couple months and just moved in. Wanted to say thanks for all the info people gave me and let ya's know I'm loving it here! I can't wait to be done unpacking so I can get out and see things. I already noticed how friendly people are and anyone who walks by says HI, you don't get that in NY. The weather is sooo much nicer too! Hope everyone on here is having a Happy Easter and Happy Spring! Thanks again for all your help on this forum with the area.

In another week or so, the trees will all be leafing out and it will be a little prettier then.

Welcome to Tennessee.

You sound like me when I first arrived here. It definitely isn't NY. Enjoy your new town and Happy Spring!
Welcome to Tennessee!

Oh hush, you'll be in the 60s and 70s later this week. Here in NY, we'll be lucky to be in the 50s (trying to show off my teeth before I move to M'boro )

Are you a teacher? My husband and I are thinking of moving to Nashville and he is a teacher. What can you tell me about opportunities for teachers in Nashville?

Sorry, I'm only in college now to eventually be a teacher.

My suggestion is to look at the various school districts for job postings. Since I'm moving to Murfreesboro, I looked at their website and saw listings for jobs for teachers - other school districts may have the same. If they don't, maybe someone can recommend the best way to get into the schools. I know here in NY it's not what you know, but WHO you know.

Irreplaceable- I am on here too asking questions about different areas because my boyfriend and I are moving down there too. Where did you move from? Can you tell me how Mt. Juliet is like so far? We have a few cities to choose from and I am just trying to get as much info as I can.

Thank you!!!
