Question - are there acreages (max 10 acres) available in Hendersonville/Gallatin area with some hilly areas? Am I looking north or south of that area?.....My wife and I like being close to services yet a bit out (15-30 minutes) for some "space". Is that available there, still? Thx!

You'd do better to start a new thread in the main Tennessee forum. Hohenwald isn't in the greater Nashville area.
There was another thread or two in the past year about Hohenwald. You might want to find those and see if they answer any of your questions.

I live in Lewis County (Hohenwald) and it is very rural (Hohenwald-4000 pop., Lewis County-12000). It has great scenery (almost mountains, creeks, a river, lots of land, you name it). The land is pretty cheap out of town (about $7000 an acre) and it has a very low cost of living. But this is definitely a town without any major development going on.

I went to college in Nashville and no, no mountains.
But, I had friends there from Michigan...they THOUGHT the hills there were mountains!

I agree...these are good areas to check out.
I'd also suggest Ridgetop, Greenbriar (especially out Dividing Ridge Road), Joelton, and maybe Ashland City. These areas are very hilly and I'd consider them to be rural.
