I'm a recent alumnus from the College of Education and Behavioral Science. Good luck!

Buy question is, I have over 60 hours of credit hours, I will have my associates this summer, do I need my hs transcript
|
I'm not totally sure, but I don't think so. I transferred there summer of 2006 and I don't remember getting my high school transcripts sent to them. Call the admissions office to make sure though.

I will be drving back and forward from white house...Do you think this is a good Idea?
|
No way! That's roughly a 60 mile drive. If I had to guess I would say it would be 65-75 minutes, at least, to MTSU. Then, add another 20 minutes to find parking and get to class. The only way I would even contemplate doing this would be if I scheduled all of my classes for Tuesdays and Thursdays. Given that your intended major is so common, you might just be able to schedule your courses on those two days.

MTSU took my HS transcript because I was transferring with under a certain amount of credits. I want to say it was 24, but I cannot find the paperwork saying what the credit hours were. I am transferring in eventually with 16 (right now my classes are 4 each and I'll have 4 completed on July 3rd). Since my ACT/SAT scores were so old and I had not taken college level English yet, I had to do some testing to see what class they needed to place me in. Since I'm currently in Algebra, math was moot.
I meet with my transfer advisor next week and have to schedule my CUSTOMS. In my case I'm still a freshman and have never truly attended college (my current one is online, not Phoenix ) so I look forward to it.
If you have any MTSU questions, let me know and I can try to get them answered by those I know.

I went to CUSTOMS last year with my son and it was great. I am sorry that Dr Glenn is leaving MTSU because he was the backbone of the event. Make sure to take a small umbrella as the campus is prone to quick rain showers. Have fun!

I'm majoring in Political Science with one of my minors being Secondary Education. I like the idea of teaching one thing, focusing on one subject. I was originally going to go with History (that will be my other minor) then I found that I had the Political Science option and went for it! I had wanted to do something with political science for many years, just not politics (too many skeletons for that lol).
As much as I LOVE kiddies and have enjoyed being a class mom and always so involved in the schools in the past with my kids, I feel a need to teach the older kids. I remember the teachers who helped me with my 'teen drama,' as Mike says, so I suppose I feel the need to give back!
My boyfriend works at MTSU, so I've had a slight advantage to figuring out where things are, how to register for all I've had to do, etc.
