So far I explored the town a bit. Old Fort Parkway really confused me with how to get into those shopping centers, but I figured that out. I do have a GPS, so I can freely explore, but I've been busy with my schoolwork and adjusting to living with my boyfriend and all
Next week I'll probably explore a bit more. I did find the Avenue though!

Hope that you enjoy living in Murfreesboro. I went to school there and it has really grown as a town! Still have friends there so visit quite a bit. Try to get out and join a book club or some type of group right away - that will be a big help in transitioning to a new place. Good luck!

I hope your enjoying it there. I was there today treating my daughter and her friend to lunch. We went to an Italian restaurant in the old section of town. We also went to the Avenue.

[quote=alleycat;3357325]Well, this might be a good first lesson about living in Tennessee . . . never believe a weather forecast three days in advance here. And if it has the word "snow" in it, don't even believe them if it's one day in advance.
LMBO!!! Yes... and if you hear "snow" or "ice"... please, please, PLEASE dont go to the grocery store for milk, eggs and bread! That always cracks me up! Do people think milk eggs and bread are going to save their lives in a huge snow storm? What, "Im getting snowed in for a week... I know, I need french toast!" Seriously.
