So so excited!!!
Tomorrow is the big day - I move to Murfreesboro! Sad to leave NY behind, no doubt, but will be interesting to start all over in a new community where I only know my boyfriend and not many others.
The joys of finding the grocery stores, a hairdresser, a bank, how to get around town, etc. I look forward to the challenges!
First things first, Monday morning I need to drive back and forth to Nashville since that's where my pod is currently sitting with my clothes and such in it

Well, congratulations on your move.
I'm sorry it's such a rainy day if you're actually moving in today and have to be in and out. It's bad enough I have to go to the grocery store this afternoon.
Welcome to Tennessee.

Well, this might be a good first lesson about living in Tennessee . . . never believe a weather forecast three days in advance here. And if it has the word "snow" in it, don't even believe them if it's one day in advance.
And good luck with your future teaching plans. That can be a difficult but rewarding career (I have a "little sister" who is a college professor in SC). If there's anything the world can use more of it's good teachers.
Best wishes,
ac

I've been here in Tn. for a year and a half now, originally from upstate NY. We love it here and it is home. Lots of luck learning your way around your new home town!
Yesterday my mother was asking me when I was moving back "Home", the question caught me off guard and I blurted out"Why would I when Tn. is home.... I am home!"
I guess I can't fault her for trying but Tn. beats NY in every way in my book.
All the best to you in your new home,
Pam
