Default One day in Nashville suggestions

Hello,

My family and I will be in Nashville for one day Thursday May 22nd from about late morning until we have to catch a 6PM flight out. We have maybe four hours to sightsee. We have four girls 8, 6, 4 years and six months, so kind of young. We would like suggestions for what we might want to see in Nashville, preferably historical or famous but while realizing the challenges of traveling with these kids.

This page had some suggestions:

Nashville Things To Do - Travel Guides - VirtualTourist.com

so did one of my favorite sites, TripAdvisor:

Top 10 Things to Do in Nashville - TripAdvisor

Thank You.

Given your time constraints, your interests, and the age of your daughters . . . maybe the Adventure Science Center, the zoo, Centennial Park, or the Hermitage (home of Andrew Jackson, the grounds and old cabins are the best part to me). If your oldest two happen to like country music, then maybe the Country Music Hall of Fame.

I vote for the Hermitage. My kids LOVED it the first time we went. They were 4 and 7 then. We've been back several times since.
