Thumbs up Mineo's Has The Best N.y Style Pizza!

Mineo's in Cool Springs(Franklin) has the best N.Y style pizza!! Being a native of N.Y myself, I am pretty picky when it comes to pizza. Mineo's has never dissapointed, they serve slices all day and I promise you you will not find a slice that is bigger. Their crust and sauce is perfect. I go there alot for lunch they have a 2 slice and drink special for 5.99.
All of their food is amazing though try the hot italian sub or their chicken parm. Their chicken wings are also to die for try the hot rasberry yumm!!

I hope I helped someone on their quest for great N.Y style pizza

I said to the woman, "It looks like NY pizza". She said "It is". The owners are from Massachusetts, Long Island, & Connecticut. It's a chain restaurant, but it was identical to what I would have gotten back in NY.

The slice of pizza was big, and if you fold it in 1/2 like NY'ers like to do, some oil would come off. I felt like a kid again. I'm taking my husband there next. It made my move to TN that much better.

Here's their menu:

NYPD Pizza. Voted "Best Pizza" 9 Years in a Row!, "Best of Orlando" by the Orlando Weekly and "1st Place Pizza" by Orlando City Magazine."
Barbara, Yes they have great Pizza. I have eaten there a few times.

Yes, Mellow Mushroom is also very good. I've eaten in the Murfreesboro one where my daughter goes to college. I have to try the one in Franklin since its close by.

Sandy, I'll definitely try that. I know exactly where it is. I go to the Mexican place all the time in the same shopping center. I'm from LI orginally.

Hmmm, it'll be a month before I get back to NY again, so I'll have to try one of these joints out. Now to figure out how far M'boro is from Franklin

When I came back from this weekend's visit in NY, I made sure to bring back some NY Bagels. Boyfriend and I each had one this morning and now he understands why I say I MUST have NY bagels now and then. I think we're having the last two tomorrow for breakfast lol.

While Mellow Mushroom is good, it isn't at all like NY pizza. Joey's is good, but expect to get yelled at, its the real deal

Now, there is NOT a decent bagel place in all of Nashville though, unfortunately.

You guys are making me hungry. Dang it, it's only 4 pm. If I ate dinner now, I'd be hungry again by 7. I will have to stop reading until I've eaten. By the way, I am living proof that they yell at you at Joey's. I think some people would have taken offense, but I thought it was funny. When communicating with people you have to consider the culture they are coming from and adapt to their style, at least in the way you "receive" things. So in that case, I just smiled and knew it was not meant the way it "sounded". However, if a true southerner yelled at me like that, it would have probably meant that they wanted to harm me in the worst way and I would have definitely been pouting over it
