Sometime the actually commute time will vary quite a bit on exactly where you live and the time you travel. If you can jump right on the Interstate or a major highway, your commute time will generally be shorter. And if you can commute (like I do), slightly off of peak rush hour times, you can shorten your commute time quite a bit.
Remember, I am guessing quite a bit here. Someone who lives in one of the areas will have a better handle on commute times and the price range of houses in the area.
Now, for another question . . . are any of your kids teenagers and are you planning on sending them to public high school?

Alleycat, while I respect and agree with the majority of your posts, I will give you the fact that you did state that the driving time is a "guess", however since the widening of I-65 North of Nashville drives from White House, Greenbrier and Hendersonville are all well in the 45 minute range of Nashville on an average day.
