I work off Ashland City Highway and I'm looking to move closer to my job are there any ideas on good areas to live in that are safe for a single mother with a young female child?

Default Look at some areas around Kings Lane

I'm not exactly sure where you are working. But my family lives in the Kings Lane area. There are houses to the left and right on Kings Lane off of Clarksville Highway.

If you google it, my mom lives near Timothy Drive Park (on some maps it's Bordeaux Park. It's not really a park though. It has a walking track, a large football/soccer field and a basketball court.) It's also down the street from The Temple Church.

She's never had any problem and she's lived there since I moved away to college (about 15 years). Very little traffic. Kids play in the streets. It's even safe at night. I've never felt in an danger day or night. It's a middle class/working class neighborhood. Oh, and my mom raised me and my sister as a single mom.

Good luck
