I, myself have never met anyone off the internet, but my mom has met boyfriends off the internet after her and my dad's divorce and it's kinda a hit and miss. Almost had to move to Cali cause of one. She did ended up marrying one. I would say he was one of the misses lol. I still believe he was a "tired of looking so I'm just gonna settle with this one" guy. lol

Of course, there are nuts out there, no question, but psychos exist everywhere, not just online. There are no guarantees anywhere you meet someone. I think you have to take precautions until you really get to know someone. I chatted with my husband online and by phone for two months before we ever met in person and when we finally did meet, it was a public place and I brought a guy friend with me for protection. LOL! Everything worked out okay. I have an online chat group of 11 women all from different states. We have talked to one another now for 6 years and most of us have met eachother in person with no problems. Everyone has been who they have respresented themselves to be. The internet is actually a great place to meet someone you may never get to meet otherwise. Of course, I always say you have to be smart about it.

I think most relationships are hit or miss! Sometimes they work and sometimes they don't!

As far as meeting people from online,of course one has to be careful....but I belonged to an online weight loss group for some years and met several of the women from that group and it was great!

Yes, I suffer the same ailment!
I have never had a bad experience yet meeting someone from the internet and I have met several people that way. It's nice to know it has been a good experience for others as well.

I did check for you at work today and my store is not hiring right now. We are slow, it's summer, which is what I suspected. Most hiring is done in the winter months. That's not to say that another store might not need some help. Have you tried the one on Memorial Blvd.? It's a pretty busy store. The one in Smyrna is busy as well. I'm sorry, I tried.
