Default Recent Grad Moving To Nashville

I am a new grad and will be working for Caterpillar Financial in Nashville in August. I have been researching for different apartment complexes and some of them appear to be really nice but I don't know much about their location. Can you tell me what cities have do most of young professions live in/or relocate to? What are some nice apartments closer to CAT that are quiet and safe? Thanks

Catepillar Financial is right on West End near Vanderbilt University. There are some very nice apartments around that area, as well as some older one.

You should check on craigslist for apts around Sylvan Park,Vandy,West End, Green Hills,East Nashville,Belmont, 12th South...just watch out around Charlotte Pike, Edgehill, and 8th and Wedgewood...closer to west end,21st ave, and belmont blvd the better generally.

If you can afford it, give the Gardens of Hillsboro Village a look, on Portland Ave. just of 21st. Gated community, parking included in your rent, washer/dryers in some apartments (connections in all the others). It's a healthy walk to CAT through the Vanderbilt campus from this place.

I lived there the two years I was in Nashville in one of their apts with hardwood floors and never had any problems and would not hesitate to recommend them to a young professional.

Check into Brixworth in the 4000 block of Harding Rd. across from St. Cecilia Academy and near St. Thomas Hospital. It's also near McCabe Park golf course and Belle Meade. It's a short 10 minute drive to your office building.
