How far is Orlinda from White House or Cross plaines? I saw a few houses online in Orlinda and it seems to be fairly close to both cities. Is Orlinda a city or just an area of Cross Plaines or White House. Is it very big?

Not very far; a couple of miles. I don't think Orlinda is an incorporated city, but I'm not absolutely sure about that.

That's what I thought. It looked pretty close. Thanks!

It's been a while since I've been through that area, and I've heard it's grown, but I still think of it as being more of a large cross-roads community than a town.

I drove into Orlinda about 2 weeks ago and the center of town is old. There are homes with property on the outlying part of town. I like Cross Plains better; it's also closer to grocery shopping (Piggly Wiggly in Cross Plains and White House supermarkets) which is good since gas prices are constantly going up.
