Like OMG - gas is 4.37 this morning. But like I'm sure it will be higher this weekend.

Yeah, I've been in the valley too long.

Insert maniacal laughter here. Oh crap, I'm gonna have to relearn how to drive. A freeway that open is just an invitation to go 120 mph and I'm bettin' I'll actually get a ticket for such behavior there. Aw, no more "California Roll/Stop/I-like-totally-paused", no more weaving… and probably proper use of my turn signal. Well, it'll be different.

Nobody here uses their turn signals and if you're not going at least 10 miles above the speed limit on the interstate, you WILL get run over by other speeders and big semi-trucks. In comparison to the California traffic though, it will probably seem a lot better here to you.

Weave on, brother. Here we enjoy all the fun of "active" driving without the hassle of frequent gunplay. Not only that, but I've only gotten the finger once in 7 years!!

When I first moved to Tennessee I received a ton of those "you'll know you're in the south when...." emails and they ALWAYS referred to the lack of turn signal usage.
