Default Williamson County Schools

Is there anyway to find out where/when they plan on building more schools? I heard that the school we are zoned for is overcrowded. (I've tried going through the school committee meeting minutes and I'm not finding anything)

I just read recently about some renovations and additions going on this summer at several WCS, but no new schools that I'm aware of. The Williamson County Schools website (broken link)usually offers updated information on this sort of thing.

Click here and then look under All Things Williamson County where you'll find a link for zoning maps for the coming school year in Williamson County.

Why not just call the district office and ask?

Same reason why people on this board ask what the weather is like in Nashville instead of just looking on weather.com!

Okay. I know I will take heat for this. I don't care. Sometimes people want to know more than just a website or phone call to an office can tell them. They want to know from actual real citizens who may have further information from personal experience. There is NO reason to be sarcastic about it. It is answers like these that give the rest of us a bad name. So, either don't answer or give a decent helpful answer.

Personally, I do not live or work in Williamson county, so I do not have an answer to this person's question. I wish I did.

Thank you!

I am not aware of any new schools. They are working on adding permanent space to a few schools. I know that the elementary school my son starts attending in the fall (Trinity) has a few trailers for classrooms for the 5th graders.

I think this is a fair question. Weather, not so much. Googletarding is the worst thing that can happen to a message board. Good moderators will get rid of clutter.

I drove by Trinity yesterday. I first noticed the contractor's sign by the street, then looked back and saw some building happening toward the back on the right. More classroom space, I'm guessing.
