Ok I can't find anything about what happened but Beethoven's in Cool Springs just up and closed...

This came from the Tennessean's website, it isn't much help either.

I'm going to hazard a guess here, but it sounds to me like somebody didn't pay their taxes....happens a lot in the restaurant/bar business.

Honestly, I first went there four or five years ago and it was quite good, went back last year and it was terrible. Bad service, lousy food and the only people there were the retirement crowd.

I did start to notice a decline in the "younger" crowd but they were one of the few places that had a good deal on pool tables in Franklin that I didn't mind going to.

First The Flying Horse, now Beethoven's...

What the heck is happening to Franklin?!

Sounds like they disappeared like The Cooker did. I am still in mourning over the loss of The Cooker.

At least now we have Puccini's, the seriously fabulous coffee spot by Noshvile in Cool Springs. Anyone who reveres the award-winning barista Kyle (formerly of Kozi Bean and Merridee's) will understand my joy at finding him again
