after work traffic (home, live, airport)

I have heard about how bad traffic is here during "rush hour". I have to go to the airport tomorrow. I live at West Meade/Bellvue. If I leave here about 5:45 how bad will the traffic be? And, what's a good estimate of how long it will take sans an accident? I have only done this on the weekend and it has taken about 25 -30 minutes.

If you take 440 around to 24/40 be prepared for most of that path to be really slow. The section of 440 between 65 and 24 is just crazy...they need to widen the road!!!
I would allow 45 minutes, but that's a rough guess on my part.

Well when I lived in Bellevue, the best part was going home from work, 440 west to 40 West. Not a lot of traffic then (except the occational hold-up on the 440/40 split). Problem is your going the opposite way and I do remember it always being stop and go on 440 East during rush hour. I would leave at least two hours or so before your flight takes off just to be careful.
