Default Amish Community in Tennessee or Close

We just got back from Amish Country in Pennsylvania and we fell in love with some of the furniture but we could not bring any back with us. We would like to find a Amish Community close so we can visit and see if there is any furniture that we would be interested in. Are there any we can visit with-in a days drive of Middle Tennessee.

Thanks For Your Help

Muddy Pond is a Mennonite community just outside of Monterey which sells Amish goods along with Mennonite goods, including furniture.

You're welcome. You can go to an internet search engine and type in Amish and Kentucky and see for yourself. Good luck.

I have been to Ethridge , TN. I love wandering thru the state. Don't expect to find the commercialized Amish community you find in PA. Ethridge is nothing like that. Ethridge is all Old order Amish that sell things from their homes. They also have restaurants in their homes. The mentioned mall does have Amish goods, but amish are not selling there. I'm sure they do sell furniture but most likely also from their homes.
I have been to both the one in PA and the one in Ethridge so my comparsion is what I observed. You will not find huge Amish Buffet restaurants in Ethridge because its all Old Order.

Here is what I found on web---- Ethridge, Tennessee, Old Order Amish Settlement — GAMEO

Yes, My kids and I were there this week. A man named Guy very patiently answered my questions about the difference between Shaker and mission styles, their workmanship, etc. I left wanting to order a fortune's worth of furniture for every room
