Just moved here. Looking for a place to go camping and ride 4wheelers. Anybody know of any places?

I used to ride ATV's there years ago but they cut out all riding unless you ride a horse.Every now and then we still take the horses to the horse trails but all ATV trails are closed.

If I were you and didn't want to pay to camp and ride ATV's, I'd make friends with farmers in your area.

So many folks fear lawyers if someone gets hurt on ATV's that they cut out riding on their places all together. We have one guy up the road a few miles that cut his place up into a racetrack so the local kids could still have a place to ride.He said if kids can't do anything at all, they will end up bored and in trouble so he made sure they still have at least one place to ride on for free anytime they wish, at their own free will.Kids ride their ATV's for miles on backroads to get to this guys place and have fun.My kids ride there and a few other places to.

My neighbors across the road own 105 wooded acres with all kinds of trails that we use to ride our horses. They also belong to a dirt bike club and they meet once a month or so and there are usually between 30-60 people there riding their bikes, but these people have to carry their own insurance, or sign a waiver. RS-1080 is right, a lot of people just don't want to risk someone getting hurt on their property and getting sued, but you might ask around. I'm sure you'll find someone that will let you ride on their land as long as you have insurance and sign a waiver.
