Default Lawn mower/small engine repair shops?

Anyone know of any reputable small engine repair shop closer (rather than farther) from downtown? I've been tinkering with my lawn mower for the last two months trying to get it running to no avail. Thanks for any replies and my neighbors will thank you as well (no more bumming their rigs).

Is it a small push mower? If so, you might just be better off buying a cheap new one.

Less than a week ago I looked into getting my hand-me-down Honda push mower worked on. Rates were $70/hr. I just bought a new one instead.

Wow, 70/hr is just to much.

Now I know why folks don't complain when I ask 100 bucks labor for a 300ex top end rebuild.Goodness,it's only about 4-5 hours so I feel 100 bucks is fair. I thought about just working on ATV's full time rather than a side thing. They are alot less pain to work on than some of the newer cars these days.< chinscratch >

There is a guy in South Inglewood that does mower repairs. He is next door to the Radio
Shack store, right before you go under the train viaduct.

About 4 miles from Downtown ....

Yeah it's a small Briggs and Stratton push mower. It's only two years old and I bought it for about $240...I was hoping to stay in the $50 range on the fix if possible and if it was too much just buy a new one...

It started leaking oil then I believe I put too much oil in it and flooded it out. I drained it and put the right amount but now it will just sputter for a minute then die out when I try to start it.
