Can anyone tell me about these apartments and this area? Is this a decent area to live in Nashville?

I had never heard of these condo's until this post. Judging from the website "located a couple of blocks from 2nd Ave" I would guess it's about like any place downtown, pretty safe but you will still need to be aware of your surroundings. There is sometimes a large congregation of homeless people that hang out near Riverfront Park off first ave, but I wouldn't be too worried about criminal behavior but probably more nuisance issues. The new urban movement is fairly new to downtown Nashville (like most southern citites, we have been loving us some suburbs) and you would be somewhat of a trend setter by moving there which isn't a bad thing at all. But with that I'm sure there will be some growing pains. I wanted to move closer to downtown but wanted a yard and a little more space so I opted for East Nashville. Welcome to the city.
