this may be true in some parts of the country, but it seems like there are quite a lot of jobs in the burbs too... Maryland Farms, Cool Springs, etc.

Nashville is not that big and I don't really consider the suburbs to be THAT far from the jobs compared to other cities...my commute is 15 miles/25 minutes...also as previous poster said, the jobs are pretty spread out so unless you bought WAY out-like Spring Hill and work in downtown Nashville then I don't think it's a huge issue here.
