Best chinese restaurants in Franklin area?
Where can I get good chinese food in the Franklin area? I've tried Ming's but it was only fair for chinese. I've found a couple of places in Nashville that are fine, but it's a long way to go at current gas prices when I've got the munchies for some good beef with broccoli or pork fried rice. And I don't care for PF Chang's take on chinese food.
Thanks, JD

China Panda is a much better alternative to Ming's, and they offer free delivery! 771-0810.

there are a couple chinese places on Hwy 96...one is China Gourmet, which has a buffet, and the other is China Panda and has take-out or dine-in options. The latter is closed on Mondays. Seems I always want it on Mondays and then remember it's closed!!!

Pei Wei in Brentwood in Maryland Farms is close to Franklin. Great food!

That's the same as PF Chang's though, which they said they didn't like.

China Panda in Cool Springs has the best General Tso's I've had in middle TN. It's really good, cheap, and you can't beat the free delivery.

Peking Palace was the best but it is long gone, my friend. Some people adore China Hut in the weird back alley part of downtown Brentwood. Otherwise, I myself would stick to Thai or instead drive into Green Hills where there are numerous options, such as August Moon or Chinatown Inn. Pei Wei is garbage just like PF Chang's.

That depresses me. A lot. Brentwood is a shadow of its former self. Sigh.
