Thanks so much for the link it had some really good information. I thought that I had them living under my deck (which is low) but after reading that article I don't think so. I will keep a eye for them in my lawn area and other areas. Thanks again

I've lived in TN for over 25 years and I've never had such a bad fly problem as I'm having this year. There's nothing in my house for them to be attracted to, and I'm hearing the same from others in my area.

As for wasps, I get them in my house every year. I can't find their nest, probably somewhere behind the walls, so we've just learned to co-exist. I don't bother them if they don't bother me. I've only been stung twice. Once was my fault, opening the blinds without my glasses on, knowing they love to hang on the blind cords, and the other time was when one got stuck in my hair. Otherwise, the ones that hang out inside my house are pretty harmless.

It's our first year here in TN so I wasn't sure if all these flies were normal. All I can say is the only thing that is helping some is the Raid Fly Motel. It's a plastic container you hang up that contains some kind of solution that gets the flies to check in but they don't check out! We also have fly swatters on our patio as well as in our home.
