Chicago Bears Bars in Nashville / Suburbs
Anybody know of any bars catering to the Chicago Bears down here in the greater Nashville area?

I could be wrong about this, but maybe The End Zone in Green Hills. Seems like I've heard that Bears fans met there. Again, I'm not sure, so don't take my word for it. I've never been inside the place myself.

Thanks. I'll give them a call.
The wife is either going to have to be without me for 4 hours most Sundays or buckle in letting me get the HD broadcast over the internet.

Don't put it that way.
Say, "Honey, you work so hard and do so much, I want to give you some quiet time where you can read or take a nap or just be by yourself and not have me underfoot or in your way. Sunday afternoon would be a good time for this (or maybe Monday night). No need to thank me, your love is enough. I just want to do it for you."
;-)
(I'm evil, ain't I?)

I feel for you buddy. We've had the NFL Sunday Ticket from DirecTV for years...had to get an apartment in Franklin and couldn't get southern exposure. My husband and I are lost without it....WE HATE CABLE.
We're Packers/Steelers/Jets (#4) fans so it's a drought down here for us on regular TV.

I don't know if the NFL has anything similar, but I really like getting MLB/TV. That way I can watch any Cardinals baseball game I want (and almost all the other teams as well if I wanted to watch them). I don't have my computer hooked up to my TV, but I do have a large computer monitor so I just turn the monitor towards the sofa ( ) and watch it that way. One good thing about MLB/TV is that all the games are archived, so that if I'm out while the game is on, or it's a day game and I'm at work, I can pull up the archived game and still watch it.
You might want to check to see if the NFL as something like that. MLB/TV isn't that expensive ($99 a year as I recall).

I think NFL.com is working on something similar and ESPN360 has something too....but it's not perfected yet. The DirecTV Sunday ticket was awesome...all the games live. We got really spoiled. The NFL Network on TV plays replays of the big games...and without a lot of dead time, you can see a whole game in a little over an hour. But I don't like watching a game when I've already seen the highlights on SportsCenter 100 times. I'm glad you found something that works for you! Hope it happens with football too!

The NFL has both television and radio broadcasts through their site. I'm thinking about doing one of these, we'll see.

FYI...The End Zone is closed and the Box Seat is being remodeled. Usually the Corner Pub in Green Hills, Bellvue or on Broadway carries all the games. Jonathans, Sam's in the Village and Hooters too. Da Bears!
