Since we have kind of expanded out of Nashville I would like to add Demos' Restaurants. They have a location in Lebanon, Murfreesboro and perhaps another. They are family owned and very good for a fair price.

Oh...and after my recent experience at Valvoline in Franklin....we're looking for a privately owned garage for things like oil changes, minor repairs. You know...they used to call them "backyard mechanics"

Cumberland Hardware, right next to 3 Crow Bar, across the street from Cafe Margot in East Nashville. I fear it will be gone soon with Home Depot and Lowes moving into Inglewood.

STan's....its actually south of Nashville, just off I-65. A real dump, but great food...I think it used to be a filling station. You get a bowl of white or pinto beans, cornbread with cracklins,' a stalk of green onion....Lordy! Stick-to-your-ribs food!

Toots is local and it's really good, too. Kids can eat free which is really helpful on the budget!

Today we tried The Loveless Cafe for the first time! It's a really fun place to go and the food was delicious...we shared a piece of coconut cream pie for dessert and it was heavenly! Then I spent over $100 in their hams and jams shop for Christmas gifts!
We went at 3:00 (put the game on TIVO) and were seated immediately.
