Default Gallatin/Hendersonville Express Bus

The new express Bus (RTA) from Gallatin/Hendersonville to Nashville started this week. I have been riding all week.

You can not beat the price or convenience.

The cost is $3.50 each way - Seniors pay $1.75 each way. There are 2 buses leaving in the am and 2 buses returning from Nashville every afternoon.

No more having to fool with having to watch crazy drivers. The buses are very nice - even have TVs and restroom.

All that can - come join us. The amt you save on you gas will astound you. This is especially comforting considering the gas shortage/gas price increase that we all are experiencing.

that's great to hear! perhaps if it's successful enough, they'll start doing some sort of ride passes where the more you ride the more you save. (i.e. here we have a $75 monthly pass that you can use for unlimited rides)

Hey Patsymom - what are the pickup and dropoff times for the bus? Also, how long does the actual commute take?

I saw and heard about this - just had questions about the timing issues for me. It is great that this is offered in our community
