Dentist and OB/ GYN recommendations
Hello All!
I live in Hermitage/ Donelson area and would like to find a GOOD detist. Please send me any recommendations that you may have.
Also, for the ladies here in the Nashville area...any OB/ GYN recs?? I really want someone knowledgeable and who takes their time with me (personable).
Any help is more than appreciated!!  |

Carol McCullough at Summit was my OB/GYN for years...delivered my baby...wonderful!!! The only reason I changed docs is because I moved to Franklin.
She's GREAT!

Hi there,
I am a dental hygienist and have found that Dr. Whaley in brentwood is fantastic. He is honest, clean and does excellent work. SO if you are willing to go to brentwood, I think exit 74B off 65 S ( not too far) He is your best bet. good luck!

I'm a dude, but my wife swears by Dr. Lisa Jabusch. I can't remember the name of the practice (TN Women's Clinic maybe?) but her office is at Summit. She's got a great personality and excellent demeanor.

Terry Cashion is an excellent dentist and is located at the office building on Central Pike and Old Hickory Blvd. Went to him when I lived out that way and am thinking about making the drive to start seeing him again since I can't seem to find one I like on the west side of town.

Dr. McCullough was my OB/GYN, too! I'll second that she was WONDERFUL, except she wasn't able to deliver either of my babies.  Both times she was performing an emergency c-section, but Dr. Rhonda Holcomb in the same practice DID deliver both my kids and she was great. I had a difficult 1st pregnancy after several losses and the entire staff was very comforting and patient with my excessive worries and nerves.
No experience with a general dentist in the area, sorry. |

Best dentist in town
Although she's in downtown Nashville, I think it would be worth the drive to see Kathy Hall, DDS. She's a spectacular dentist--not only does she have a great 'chairside' manner but she is highly respected in her field--i think she's on some state or national dental boards.

Dentist - Dr. John Douglass on Harding (across the street from the Belle Meade Kroger) - been going to him since 1993.
GYN - Dr. Barbara Nylander - she's doesn't do OB anymorem but her husband Dr Wingo does.
