These sound really good - thank you so much....
My daughter went to Marche this past weekend and really enjoyed it...so that is where I will start.
Keep the suggestions going - good food is my incentive for working out.

Marche is great. I believe the executive chef there is also Margot MacCormack.

Unfortanately Z's Five Points Deli has already closed. Mad Donnas is great, I'll second that one. Ooh & I second Battered & Fried, it's consistently good food & good service.

I went to Mad Donna's for lunch today, food was excellent. Our group looked at Marche and it looked like a fun place to eat.

Well I always seem to run out of time, but since my daughter is so close to Marche, we went for dinner when I got in Nashville - great fish dish. Lunch on Sat - got a Tartine OK, but will hold out for their quiche next time. Brunch on Sunday and was good. Definitely would go back, but will share a plate with my daughter. I could not believe all the food. The staff was wonderful. I will try the other restaurants listed next time. Also, I noticed that they have added some new coffee places I want to try on my next visit: Sky Blue Coffeehouse and Bistro; Ugly Mugs. Thank you again.

Maybe the two people who suggested gerst haus to you like to eat dog food, because the gerst haus SUCKS!! The worst food i have ever had. I didnt have a burger or a sandwich, because i went for German Food and it was a total disaster. Save your money, dont go there. But i can say that Sweet 16 bakery has a really scone!

The Veggie Cafe is closed. The Pied Piper Diner is in that location now.
Also, check out a new restaurant called Southern Bred on Trinity Lane. Excellent food & service, with reasonable prices.
