East Nashville Restaurants
Coming for a visit in a couple of weeks and want to know if there are any new good restaurants in the East Nashville area to try out? I enjoyed Margot Café & Bar for brunch on my last visit.
Look forward to your suggestions.
btw - I travel casual so nothing to dressy. Thx

I love Alleycat, their cheese dip is insane. Here's a link to their website www.alleycatlounge.com.

It's probably considered "not quite" in east Nashville, but I think Gerst Haus is great. Very casual, awesome food.

I've heard people say things about Mad Donna's & The Veggie Cafe. You also have Marche, which is great. If you're in the mood for something really casual Z's Five Point Deli is good and then for a fun alternative there's I dream of weenie.

I'd read that Z's was closing, but not sure when. Don't forget Rosepepper on Eastland for a different kind of Mexican (the huge deck is perfect this time of year). For sandwiches, breakfast and such, Mitchell Deli at Riverside Village is making a huge impact. Batter'd and Fried across from Margot has really good sushi, among other things.
And for a Saturday afternoon, I Dream of Weenie on Woodland, is killer.

Mean't to say I second the recommendation IngleDave gave for Mitchell's Deli for breakfast or lunch.
