Well there's the Music Row roundabout... not sure about others. Really, they're not that difficult to manage. But yeah, you should be able to drive around any of them. Just get yourself a good map of down/mid town.

I hate those things. I always feel like I will end up like Griswold in the movie "European Vacation", where he got caught driving around one for hours because he couldn't get over to exit.

There's a roundabout at the So. Briley exit at Two Mile Parkway. It works well, not too busy. Bicentennial Mall has a four...each corner and watch for a major roundabout at 8th Avenue at Gateway as part of the new convention center. That one will be interesting...probably moreso than the Music Row circle.

I remember being at Cape Cod where there was an actual confluence of interstates at a roundabout...a really BIG roundabout. It was dark, it was raining...and of course, it took me three tries to get where I wanted to go. Pretty scary stuff. They seem common in Boston, but roundabouts would be the least of the problems you'd encounter in Boston. It's the humans. No offense, Boston, but you know it's true.

I hate traffic circles. They are completely idiotic! New Jersey was in the process of getting rid of many when I left there in 94.

music circle and downtown franklin are the only two I know of. If you don't like them never try to drive in the suburbs of Boston

We got caught in one in Philadelphia. It was just like in a movie. We went round and round and round. Finally, finally, we were able to get over and get out. Then we got out of town as fast as we could. We didn't see another until we were in Rome. Fortunately, we were in tour buses and it was the responsibility of the Italian bus drivers to get us through them. We learned to close our eyes and trust in the Lord.

There is a roundabout in the Brentwood Town Center area also. I know some people find them frustrating, but once you get used to them, they are actually superior than a regular four way stop. When traffic volume is low, you don't even have to slow down much. Just because they appear in comedy films doesn't mean they are actually bad.

after driving in Ireland where they put roundabouts everywhere just to screw with us...and then expect us to drive on the wrong side of the road which means you go to the left at the roundabout....the ones here are a piece of cake.
