Hi,
We're looking to relocate down to the Murfreesboro, TN area and are looking for recommendations on solid Christian private schools in that area. The good and the bad. We live in MN right now and have our children in a private christian academy. Would like any pros and cons to the schools in the Nashville suburban areas so to speak.

Thanks.

Middle Tennessee Christian School in Murfreesboro is a solid school! It is on Memorial Blvd and they have alot of kids that go there. I think the grades are k-9. Hope that helps you!

Do you just want info on private Christian schools in M'boro or are you willing to drive into Nashville on a daily basis? I have some friends in Murfreesboro that have their kids at Ezell Harding in Nashville, about a 20 to 30 minute drive one way, but they are very happy there.

In Murfreesboro, there's also Franklin Road Christian School (Baptist) and St. Rose Catholic School.

Providence Christian Academy (which is a Classical Education school, by the way) is a great school, but it is quite a bit smaller that Middle Tennessee Christian. Their lower school is wonderful. Their upper school has quality faculty but is still building itself up since the school was founded only 10 years ago. You can visit their website at Welcome to Providence Christian Academy, and I suggest contacting Lisa Carlton. She is a wealth of knowledge at that school.

I actually attended MTCS from 7th grade until I graduated high school. I really enjoyed going there, and most all of my classmates seemed to like it, as well. Granted, that was years ago and for all I know it may have changed considerably, but I imagine it's still a good place.

Actually, I posted the wrong website, if anyone cares. The actually website is www.providencechristian.com. I'm not sure where that other school is. =)
