Hotel Question
Hello, I will be in Nashville this week for one night. Is the area around this hotel OK?
Best Western Music Row
1407 Division Street
Nashville, Tennessee, 37203-4015
Thanks!

It's not exactly a beautiful area right around the immediately vicinity, but, yeah, it's an okay area to stay in.

No, it's nothing like that. The areas nearby are nice (West End, Vanderbilt, parts of Music Row); it's just that Division Street isn't a scenic part of Nashville.

It's an okay place, but stick to the direction toward Music Row and West End when you go out. The hood isn't so far away, so I'd recommend not leaving things in your car that you value. The place is usually busy so you should be fine. When you arrive, you might get your bearings before venturing out too far. Don't want to scare you because it's not that bad, but be vigilant when you come and go. In the daylight, all is just fine. It's the nighttime you need to be more cautious.

That hotel is nice enough, but if you don't mind being a couple miles out from downtown, you might have more fun here:

Pimpy, you are just fixated on this place. This picture keeps popping up, so to speak.
Sadly, I know exactly where it is. lol.

Hey, one more question if you don't mind.
How about the Hampton Inn Nashville/Vanderbilt at 1919 West End Avenue? Good area?

Good area. It's just down the street from Vanderbilt University, and next door to a Catholic Cathedral.
BTW, Blackstone's just across the street is a good place to get a burger or a brew.
