Restaurant suggestions?
I have a friend who is visiting Nashville on business this week. She wants to have dinner on Friday night. She is a vegetarian who ocassionally eats fish. I am high protein, low carb girl. Any restaurant suggestions? Somewhere not astronomically expensive, but nice and easy for a Nashville novice to find (I live in the Westmeade/Bellevue area).
Thanks!

You'd have to decide whether the price and menu would suit you, but a few suggestions within a short drive include Sperry's, Antonio's, O'Charley's, Dalt's, Outback, McCabe's, J. Alexander's, and P.F. Chang's.

It's not fancy, but Logans Roadhouse has a great low carb dinner which just happens to be fish. Broiled Salmon and Broccoli. It puts the "real" seafood restaurants to shame.

Thanks everyone! I am trying to stay away from the chain restaurants as she has most of them where we come from, although J Alexanders is a possibility. I have been to the one in Brentwood? I think that she is hoping for something different. What is South Street?

Yeah, probably not any vegetarian options but there should be seafood choices and it's locally owned not a chain. A member of the Nashville Originals.

I second Calypso Cafe and there is one in Belle Meade next to Sperrys...very affordable. South Street is probably my absolute favorite place to eat in Nashville and they do have some vegitarian dishes as well as seafood and they have a pumped chicken that you will love. Their chef salad may not be on your diet but it is the best I have ever had...hands down. Have Fun!!
