Default Recycling Christmas Trees

There were some posts the other day in the main Tennessee forum about what to do with Christmas trees after the holiday.

This is a list of the places you can take your tree in the Metro area between December 27 and February 16*:

Una Recreation Center,
and the following parks:
Cane Ridge
Cedar Hill
Edwin Warner
Elmington
Joelton
Richland
Sevier
Two Rivers
Whitfield

Metro Public Works turns the trees into mulch.

*By the way, anyone who still has their Christmas tree up in February is an even worse procrastinator than I am. ;-)

thank you so much for posting this info. It breaks my heart to see trees in the trash when they are so badly needed for the trails in our parks. Good work!
