Question Tell me about Hendersonville?

My Dh, DD and I are looking to move from Poland back to the states in the next few years and we have chosen Tennessee as our future home. I have been looking into several towns and one that I really like the local landscape of is Hendersonville. Can anyone tell me any of your inpression, thoughts or opinions, or even facts about the area? Maybe things like: schools, shopping, friendliness of the community, churches and any that have a good community involvement program, things for kids to do, etc... I think that it is always good to get a first hand opinion! Thanks, Danni

Hendersonville is a nice place also. It is however pricey. Also Gallatin is right beside Hendersonville. It is a little less pricey and is also a nice area.

I would recommend looking into different areas as the landscape is pretty close in all the areas.

I live in Springfield and consider it a nice place with nice landscape. Alot of home for your buck here also. They have a website its www.springfield-tn.org

I would just caution you to look around in different areas as to get more for your buck.

Take care

I lived in Hendersonville for 18 years. It's a good place for families. Good schools, plenty of family focused activities, clean neighborhoods (yes, and pricey homes), low crime, lots of churches of all denominations, and decent shopping venues. Hendersonville has its own mayor, aldermen, police and fire departments. It has its own hospital. The population is under 60,000. It's even nicer if you don't have to commute to Nashville for work. The traffic is stiffling.
