shabang is on a distinguished road
Question Safe yet reasonable areas?

As I posted before, we were looking at the Amalie Point Apartment complex in the 37211 zip between Edmondson and Nolensville. But we're hearing more issues about crime in that area. We're definitely not wanting to be in an unsafe area where we would be locked in a 12 month lease.

So, the search continues. We're wanting to be fairly close to the Music Row area as we'll be attending SAE. The closer, the better. However, I think we'll take safety over proximity. We're also on a budget, so the biggest bang we could get for our buck.

Thanks for all your help so far!

Kristin

At least look in the Bellevue area (which is where I live); it's not exactly an exciting, hip part of town, but it's safe and clean and the people are nice. Most everything you need is within the general area. It would be reasonably convenient to the Music Row area. It's not the cheapest part of town, but neither is it the most expensive.
