Does anyone know of a good dentist in the Franklin area? Probably near Cool Springs? I am a BABY and need a good dentist and a good hygenist.

I'd recommend the Dental Chambers of Dr. Paine and Dr. Hurtt.

:-) Just kidding.

You might like that Dental Bliss place that advertises on TV all the time. I have no idea how good the dentist is, but at least they serve wine and give you a manicure.

Try Aspen Grove Dental in Cool Springs. My husband goes to Dr. Trammel and swears by him. First dentist he's ever liked.

Good luck!

I am a dental hygienist and it is sooo nice to see that you included us in your post!! That said I am new to the area but someone said to try the dental bliss place, that from their commercials, as a dental professional, seem to be what you are looking for.

Unfortunately, since I moved here I have been unable to locate a job!! Unbeleivable, I have never experienced this in the past 14 years I have been a dental hygienist. I think the hygiene market must be very flooded right now.

Please let me know if you find one you like. Since moving here, I've been to 3 different dentists and will not return to any of them. First one made me feel like I was at a car dealership and they were selling the perfect smile. He must have his entire staff on commission sales for the "extras" they book. Second one was Conan the Barbarian of dentists. She had an obviously unqualified assistant, probably because she didn't have to pay much for her, and I ended up soaking wet and with a nasty cut on my tongue when she "slipped" with the drill. Third, was OK, but when he had to reschedule my appointment because his equipment was broken, I wasn't so impressed. Needless to say, I'm still searching so I'd be interested to hear your findings.

I'm leaning towards trying Dr. Gaston, because he was recommended by a hygentist on here. If anyone can speak as to whether a dentist is good or not, a hygentist can. My sister's one, but not locally
