What is everyone's opinion of Mt. Juliet?
In my research of cities near Nashville, Mt. Juliet looks like a safe, fast growing city too. Just wondering what people's thoughts were about the area in general.

Mt. Juliet
In my opinion Mt. Juliet is a great place to live, and raise a family. I lived there for three years and it was absolutely wonderful. There are many things close by to do-if you enjoy nature. The schools are great. The people are friendly. Shopping is close by, and if you want to go downtown it is only 15 minutes away.

We have been living in Mount Juliet for 15 years and love it. Downtown Nashville is close by and fairly easy to get to. With the new Providence Mall, shopping is convenient. Mount Juliet continues to grow more and more. We have always felt safe and secure here. We have decided to stay in Mount Juliet when we retire, rather than relocate somewhere else.

We have been here one month and we LOVE it! I totally feel safe! And everyone has been so nice to us, even if we are Yankees!

Lived in Wilson cty all my life and have to say it is wonderful! The only negative aspect is that you can have a 200,000+ house right next to a trailer or a run down house. I think it has something to with zoning laws.
The new areas of Mt. Juliet are really nice...but the city didn't do to good of a job in widening the roads in time for the new mall/area! It causes quite a bit of traffic!
All in all, Wilson county is a great place to live!

Mt. Juliet is a great place with very little crime and no housing projects in the city limits that I know of. The place is exploding. Buy now while housing prices are so low, you'll be sitting on a valuable piece of property a few years down the road.

Mount Juliet is a great town. The new mall they are building is going to rival any in Nashville. The people for the most part are friendly and will go out of their way to help. The town is growing fast and the city officials seem to be just barely ahead of it. The house owners in the city limits don't pay yearly taxes on their houses. That is the only town I know of that is doing this. That shows how confident the town is on making it. And not having to have every penny out of someone.

Mt. Juliet is Great
Mt. Juliet is a wonderful community with excellent schools and some great housing values. Their schools perform extremely well, even compared to Williamson County schools that you hear so much about. It is located between two lakes and has a lot of appeal to people moving here from other parts of the country. Just like other parts of Middle TN, developers seems to be making the lot sizes for new homes smaller and smaller. But, you can still find nice homes on half acre or larger lots in Mt. Juliet.
Mt. Juliet used to be a city that few people inquired about, and now it is an area that I get emails about frequently. I would say it is definitely one of the up and coming areas of middle TN. The opening of the new Providence Mall has also helped. As they continue to grow and add more retail venues to the area the residential development should follow behind which will mean increased homes values (in my opinion of course!)
