Default Family lodging?

We are coming for a visit over spring break (March 30 - April 1). I have two children 6 and 19 months. I would like to stay in a family friendly hotel. I am hoping to find indoor pools and possibly water slides. My sister will be entertaining my children while my husband and I will be scouting the area for a move this summer.

Also is there anything that is a "must" do keeping mind the age of my children. Hubby and I love the outdoors. Will it be warm enough to do anything outside? (From Florida)

We stayed at the Drury Inn right by the airport, and thought it worked well. Convenient location, family-friendly, and great rates. There is an indoor pool (no slides though). And decent free breakfast, too.

Any of the major chain hotels around the airport should be fine for families.

As for outdoor "must do's," I recommend the Nashville zoo, Percy Warner Park, Radnor Lake to name a few. The latter two have many miles of hiking trails through the woods. I've not been to the zoo, but I hear it is one of the best in the southeast. Also, the greenway system is great. There is a trailhead down the Stones River at Percy Priest Dam, which is near the airport. Other trailheads are scattered throughout the city as well.

Nashville in early April averages around 65 degrees. I've seen it anywhere from 30-80 at that time of year; but I'd put my money on it being near 65. So if that sounds comfortable to you, then sure.
