Thinking of moving here (nashville) (Brentwood: apartment, rent, low crime)

I know NOTHING about here at all. I am half black and half white and my kids dad is white. So they are mixed also. I am looking to move somewhere around here that is cheap, schools are good, low crime and not very much racism. Is that possible? What is the average rent for a 2 or 3 bedroom apartment?

Rents are higher for desirable neighborhoods, but then it's all relative to what you're use to paying and what you want to pay. It could range from $600 and up for a nice 2 bedroom. You might want to consider renting a house if you need 3 bedrooms, although I've heard of some apts/townhomes in the Brentwood area for about $950.

Your family makeup should not be an issue here than anywhere.
