I am moving to Nashville in June 2009. I am a music teacher and am certified in Texas. Does anybody know if there are any good private schools that have a good music program? I am looking for a job as a music teacher, and would like to apply to some good Private Schools in the area.

there are a tonne of private schools in Nashville. Montgomery Bell, Harpeth Hall, University School, Harding Academy, Ensworth, St. Cecelia's, Overbrook to name a few.

check out the Montessori schools, too. I went to one, and they are big on music education. Blair School of Music at Vanderbilt also has children's music lessons, but they aren't usually hiring for full-time staff from what I know.
