Default looking for really good shoe store...

I'm looking for a shoe store that has sales staff who really know how to FIT shoes, not just SELL shoes. Nashville/Franklin/Brentwood area preferably.
I've got weird feet...I put off buying new workout shoes because it's always a hassle but I need something else soon.

Oh...and I'm one of the few who does not like New Balance...struck out with them.

Thank you!!

Fleet Feet or any of the other running specialty stores should be able to help.

The Nashville Striders might have some links up or just Google "Nashville+running stores" or something like that.

Thanks...I'm really looking for someone with personal experience. My experience in running shoe stores has been that the sales people are pretty much cash register operators. They'll sell you anything. So I guess I'm looking for a reputable place with knowledgeable staff. I'll pay $200 for a pair of shoes if they fit and don't screw up my feet.

Eescapes is on a distinguished road
You might want to try the "Z Coil" shoes. There is a place on White Bridge Rd in Nashville, but I can't remember the name. I know they are supposed to be very good at "fitting" you in the right shoe. My veternarian's husband (in SC) owned a Z Coil store and all the people in Dr. Branson's office wore them. They all loved those shoes!
