Myself and my small family are trying to decide between two apartment complexes in Murfreesboro. The costs are pretty equivalent, but we need some help deciding. If you have an opinion at all we would appreciate your help, but please tell us why you would choose one over the other. The two properties are Ashwood Cove and Northfield Commons. The place we are currently living is going to be too small once our new baby comes in November. Thanks for you input!

I don't anything about the first cmplex you mentioned. I have a friend living in Northfield Commons. She is happy there (about to sign her second lease) she says the office staff is very nice and always follows through on her calls if something needs to be taken care of. There are quite a few college kids living there and young adults. Have you looked at any apartments on the west side of the boro? There are 3 really nice complexes on St. Andrews drive. Carrington Park, St. Andrews Apartments and Woodgate Farms. All three are very nice places for families.

We have looked at apartments on the other side of town, and we would love to be able to live over there. The only thing is we only have one car, so I need to be able to bike to school or have my wife drop me off. If we lived over there it would be too much of a hassle. Thanks for the input. Keep it coming.

Oh, I understand. I think since you are going to school then Northfield is a safe choice for your family. Hopefully someone will chime in on the other complex.

Have you considered Rivermont? It's right next to the Greenway which you can ride all the way to dowtown and from there, MTSU. It's not a short a ride but a mostly pleasant one. It depends on what your budget allows, but the 2 bedroom townhouses at Rivermont are nearly 1200 square feet.

They received good ratings too, from people that lived there. The most common complaint was that the appliances and cabinets were old and outdated, but still in working condition. The grounds sound really nice though. View of the Stones River and Greenway. The have a few outside pics here: Rivermont Apartments Apartments Murfreesboro, TN - Apartments for Rent in Murfreesboro Tennessee

The rents sure look reasonable.
