So is this like the one that hit Nashville in 1998? My research shows that that is an F3.

I am thinking this one in Murfreesboro is an F3 as well, but we will see what the professionals say.

As one that enjoyed the beautiful sights and wonderful people of that area, condolences to all affected.

Best to you all...

How heartbreaking. Its bad enough when anyone gets killed like this, but a baby - absolutely horrible.

Prayers to all out there that have suffered loss of loves ones and lost their homes.

I am glad that those who live in the area are ok.
that's weird they said the tornado killed two people, and that a woman and her baby are "among the dead". Does that mean that there are other people killed ? Or did they mean that the woman and her baby are all the people that got killed ?

My heart goes out to all those affected by the tornado.

I heard this morning that 2 people were killed, 100 homes destroyed, and 100's of homes damaged.

So far, the woman and her daughter are the only reported and confirmed casualties.

That would depend on how well you were insured. I just hope everyone was smart enough to maintain their insurance coverage.

The National Weather Service tentatively classified this tornado as an EF 3 with wind speeds ranging from 135 to 165 mph. The path of the tornado was 15 miles and the maximum width was half a mile.
