Skydiving near Nashville
I am looking to skydive this weekend. Are there any skydiving places near Nashville?

They used to skydive and fly gliders at Eagleville; I assume they still do (but I'm not sure). They also skydive in Tullahoma. Eagleville is between Spring Hill and Murfreesboro. Tullahoma is a little further south towards Chattanooga.

Unfortunately your skydiving options are limited in the Nashville area. Tullahoma is hit or miss, dependent upon if they have enough tandem customers to justify opening up. There hasn't been skydiving activity around Eagleville for several years now. The 3 dropzone options are Cullman, Alabama, West Tennessee Skydiving in Bolivar,Tn, and Adventure Skydiving in Clarksville,TN.

Here is my opinion on Adventure Skydive that was located at the Clarksville Airport. They also have a branch located outside of Atlanta Georgia.
" My personal experience with this business has been far from good. After paying in advance for our group to skydive, and showing up 1 1/2 hours early, (We were told we only needed to be there 1 hour early) we left hours later with nothing but a "Rain Check". When we arrived, clear blue sky with no ceiling, they convinced us to pay more for a higher jump. We also took the bait on a video and paid for it on the spot. Our jump was to be the first of the day, and we watched as divers loaded on the plane, were up, jumped, packed their chutes and went up again. As the weather started to close in they stated doing the "Hop and Pop" jumps. Shortly after noon we were told that was the last jump as the plane needed to head back to Atlanta. Only at that time were we told that the Tandem Instructors had not shown up, and that was the reason for the delay.
After attempting to use our "Rain Check", we were told they were "Booked Up". Now we are told they are no longer offering jumps in Clarksville. The suggested we make a ten hour round trip to Georga and they would honor the "Rain Check" there.
They were unable to honor their commitment to our group to jump as paid for, I called and asked for a refund, and pretty much told me to go jump out of a plane (probably they were thinking without a chute), or drive almost a ten hour round trip to use the "Rain Check".
In my opinion, they will not be in business much longer with that attitude. Do your homework and research them before planning a skydive. They talk the talk over the phone and on the internet, but they sure do not walk the walk once they have your money and show up in person"

Adventure Skydiving that WAS in Clarksville got kicked out for their fraudulent business practices. They even tried to scam the city.
If anyone has attempted to find somewhere to skydive, but keep running in to website after website that really seem to have the same pictures of the same jumpers, but the overall sites look a bit different, do your homework! You will find that those sites are advertising fraudulently. Confirm where the location is before you give them your money and remember, skydive centers usually can schedule your skydive without rquiring your credit card info. For more info, go to www.1800skyrideripoff.com or you can just Google "Skyride Scam" and see for yourself.
Again, do your homework before you give your money away.

I have learned the business known as Adventure Skydiving, formerly located in Clarksville, is now operating at the Waverly airport.
